We are delighted to announce that the 17th World Department Store Summit (IGDS WDSS) will be held on 19-20 May 2026 in Mexico City, Mexico, organised by Liverpool and IGDS.
IGDS WDSS is the world's largest and leading discussion platform for department store CEOs, senior executives, stakeholders, and business partners.
The Summit's forward-thinking programme and agenda offer top executives from all continents unique insights into recent retail initiatives, business success stories, and key developments in department stores and related industries. Participants will also benefit from outstanding networking opportunities and the chance to exchange views and strategies on pressing issues with peers from around the world.
Mexico, with a population of 132 million and a median age of 29, is the world's 15th-largest economy. Its retail sector, rooted in a rich history and culture, is highly diverse ranging from modern department stores and sleek malls to niche boutiques, a growing e-commerce presence, and traditional markets.
